'Yellowstone' Production Costs Revealed & It Takes So Much Money to Produce the Hit Drama!

Casts of this show, and its spinoffs, go to Cowboy Camp to prepare for their roles. For the fifth season of Yellowstone, it cost Paramount $214,979.61 per week.

The breakdown in charges, on the invoice that WSJ obtained, revealed that $33,000 was for catering and $2,000 was a “per horse” charge for the animals that Taylor has on his ranch.

Apparently, Paramount actually sees the money spent as a return on its investment.

The company told WSJ that Taylor‘s shows (all of them) are “among our most successful and profitable.”
