While Costner seems keen on a return, sources say Sheridan hasn’t budged on including Costner in the already finalized scripts. The report suggests Sheridan might be unwilling to rewrite the ending to accommodate Costner, even if the actor reduces his demands.

This potential Costner return is fueled by fan expectations. The outlet, Puck News, highlights Costner’s awareness of the audience’s desire for closure, a factor he might be hoping to leverage.

Looking ahead, Sheridan reportedly remains focused on a spin-off featuring characters played by Josh Holloway, Cole Hauser, and Luke Grimes. The rumor mill churns with Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Pfeiffer as potential co-stars, though their official involvement remains unconfirmed.

  1. Sheridan should really listen to the fans of the show. Why would any of us watch the spin offs if he refuses to finish YELLOWSTONE properly? Ruining a great show certainly isn’t how to get us to watch others. Kevin’s character IS the centerpiece. So satisfy the fans or risk losing them!
