Amber Marshall Opens Up About Heartland Season 16: Amy’s Journey, Jack, and Finn’s Story
A Look Back at Season 16 with Heartland Star Amber Marshall
Howdy, Heartland fans! Grab your cowboy hats and settle in, ’cause I’ve got some juicy tidbits straight from the horse’s mouth. Our beloved Amy Fleming herself, the one and only Amber Marshall, recently sat down for a good ol’ chin-wag about Heartland’s sweet sixteen season.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I was more excited than a kid in a candy store to hear what Amber had to say. And boy, did she deliver!
First things first, Amber dished about Amy’s journey this season. Let me tell ya, it sounds like our girl’s been on quite the rollercoaster ride! But would we have it any other way? Heck no!
And get this – Amber couldn’t stop gushing about working with Shaun Johnston, who plays the lovable ol’ Jack. The way she talks about their scenes together, you’d think they were sharing apple pie and ice cream instead of dialogue!
“Working with Shaun is like coming home,” Amber shared with a twinkle in her eye. “He’s got this way of making every scene feel as cozy as a warm blanket on a cold night.”
Now ain’t that sweeter than sweet tea on a hot summer day?
But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, folks. Amber also opened up about how the Heartland family dealt with a real heartbreaker – the passing of Robert Cormier, who played Finn. It was tougher than a two-dollar steak, but Amber says they found a way to honor both Robert and Finn’s story.
“We wanted to do right by Robert and Finn,” Amber said, her voice soft but strong. “It was a challenge, but I think we managed to find a balance that respects both the character and the man who brought him to life.”
Well, if that don’t bring a tear to your eye, I don’t know what will.
On a lighter note, Amber let us peek behind the curtain of life on set. Turns out, when the cameras stop rolling, this cast and crew are tighter than bark on a tree! They’re always joshing around, sharing stories, and supporting each other through thick and thin.
And for all you eager beavers out there, here’s the scoop on where to catch all the Heartland action:
- In the Great White North (that’s Canada for you non-Canucks), tune in to CBC on Sundays or stream it on CBC Gem.
- For our friends south of the border, you can saddle up with Up Faith & Family, UPtv, or DirecTV.
And if you’re itching for more Heartland goodness, mosey on over to YouTube for a whole stable full of interviews!
Well, there you have it, folks – straight from the horse whisperer’s mouth! Amber Marshall sure knows how to keep us on the edge of our saddles. So until next time, keep those horses groomed, those fences mended, and your hearts open. Yeehaw!
