CBS Announces Special to Celebrate the Legacy of Blue Bloods Ahead of Series Finale
A one-hour retrospective special will air before the final episode of the beloved CBS drama.
The long-running CBS drama Blue Bloods will conclude its 14-season run on December 13, 2024. To commemorate the series’ significant contribution to the network’s primetime lineup, CBS will air a special retrospective, Blue Bloods: Celebrating a Family Legacy, on Friday, November 29th.
The one-hour special will feature interviews with the show’s stars and recurring guest cast members, offering viewers a nostalgic look behind the scenes and sharing their favorite memories from the past decade and a half. This event precedes the airing of the final episode, titled “End of Tour.”
While the cast expressed a desire to continue the series, its conclusion follows a long and successful run as a consistently high-rated program for CBS. Recent reports indicate that star Tom Selleck has voiced his disappointment regarding the network’s decision to cancel the show.
